When Shah Rukh Khan decides to grace the big screen, we already know it’s going to be nothing short of legendary. Now, he’s teaming up with his real-life royalty – daughter Suhana Khan! We’re talking action, drama, power moves, and a possible global thrill ride in the making. King – a film that’s already sounding like a blockbuster, and SRK hasn’t even yelled “action” yet.
All about Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan starrer king
Sources at Pinkvilla say that Shah Rukh is all set to kick off the shoot for King on May 18, and it’s going to be a full-blown cinematic hurricane. The first leg is locked in a Mumbai studio, but this isn’t just a local affair – the crew’s packing their bags for a globe-trotting schedule in UAE and Europe. Think adrenaline, beautiful landscapes, and SRK in a dark, intense avatar? We’re already obsessed.
SRK in Shades of Grey?
Gone is the Rahul who made us cry in chiffon songs – King is ready to serve something far more dangerous and delicious. Shah Rukh Khan is stepping into his baddie era, with whispers of him playing a morally twisted, complex character that might just become his most iconic look yet. We love a little villainy with charisma, don’t we?
Daddy-Daughter Duo: Suhana Joins the Big League!
Suhana Khan is making her big-screen debut alongside her superstar dad, and we’re here for this full-circle moment! After showing off her chops in The Archies, Suhana is ready to level up in this action extravaganza.
About the cast
Besides the ‘Khan’daan, King is packing a star-studded lineup. Abhishek Bachchan joins the squad, along with Abhay Verma (the guy who low-key stole scenes in Munjya). Also, buzz has it that queen Deepika Padukone might just pop in too. A little Pathaan & Jawan reunion? Please, manifest this immediately!
After delivering the massive Pathaan, Siddharth Anand is bringing his blockbuster brain to King. Although Sujoy Ghosh was originally linked to the project, Siddharth now holds the reins.
SRK Says: Can’t Reveal Much, But You’ll Be Entertained
At a recent event in UAE, Shah Rukh teased just enough to send fans into a frenzy. He said, “I am just just shooting it. I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you but I can assure you that it will be entertaining. You will enjoy it.” That’s all we needed to hear.
King is gunning for a mega release in late 2026 – think festive season, think box office rampage. Between October and December, this royal madness is going to hit the theatres and possibly break every record in sight.
