On November 7, Bandra Police Station received a chilling call. The caller demanded ?50 lakh fromShah Rukh Khan himself. The man who’s given us countless dreams is now facing a nightmare of his own.
The Spy Who Watched Too Much?
According to reports, Faizan Khanis a Raipur-based lawyer seems to have taken the role of an off-screen antagonisttoo seriously. Reports say he’s been tracking SRK and his family’s every move. From following Aryan Khan’s outings to googling their security arrangements, Faizan left no stone unturned. The Bandra police have turned up with receipts in the form of a second phone seized during the investigation.
“I’ve Been Framed!” Claims Faizan
While the evidence piles up faster than SRK’s fan following. The man claims he’s been framed and denies the charges. This isn’t his first tango with controversy. Remember Anjaam (1994)? Faizan had previously filed a complaint against the film for an “offensive dialogue.”
With these threats hanging over them, the Maharashtra government has stepped up. Shah Rukh and Aryan Khan are now under Y-plus security.
What’s Next for SRK?
Threats aside, SRK is back in action. He’s currently filming The King, a Sujoy Ghosh directorial that’s already making waves with its ?200 crore budget. The action-thriller will see SRK as a mentor to Suhana Khan’s character. If that doesn’t scream “biggest release of the year,” we don’t know what does.
