Saudi Arabia Announces EID Holidays For Private Sector

The holy month of Ramadan is almost over, and now we are looking forward to celebrating Eid with our family and loved ones. Tentative Eid dates in the UAE, for now, are April 20-23; the final dates depend on moonsighting. And now, Saudi Arabia has also announced the Eid-al-Fitr holiday for employees in the private and non-profit sectors. Read on to know the dates and more.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, on Monday, April 10th, took to Twitter to announce the holiday dates for employees in the private and non-profit sectors. Employees will enjoy four days off that will begin at the end of working hours on Thursday, April 20 and with the usual Friday-Saturday weekend, employees will resume work on Thursday, April 27.

The holy month of Ramadan began on Thursday, March 23 and as per astronomical calculations, Ramadan will last for 29 days this year.

School Kids To Get Eid Holidays From April 13

Besides the private sector, Saudi Arabia has also announced a school holiday for Eid Al-Fitr 2023. For school kids, the holiday will begin on Thursday, April 13, and kids will resume on Wednesday, Shawwal 6, and April 26. What are you planning to do this Eid? Let us know in the comments below.
