Pinpoint Fitness Opens in Abu Dhabi and Launches First International Franchise in Kenya

Dubai-born youth fitness brand expands beyond the city with new branches focused on confidence, movement, and structured development for children.

Parents walking through Deerfields Mall this month may notice something different between the usual cafés and retail stores — children climbing walls, balancing across obstacles, and racing through movement drills with full concentration on their faces.

That energy comes from Pinpoint Fitness, the Dubai-born youth fitness centre that has officially expanded into Abu Dhabi while also opening its first international franchise in Nairobi, Kenya.

For families in Dubai, the brand is already familiar. Over the past few years, Pinpoint Fitness has quietly built a loyal community through its parkour-inspired obstacle training programmes for children and teenagers. Instead of focusing only on intense workouts or competitive sports, the sessions are built around movement, coordination, confidence, and gradual progress.

Now, the company is taking that same approach beyond Dubai.

The Abu Dhabi launch marks the company’s first expansion into the UAE capital, while the Nairobi branch represents the beginning of a larger international franchise strategy.

Founded in Dubai, Pinpoint Fitness currently operates three branches across the city. Its philosophy is simple: “accuracy before speed.” That idea shapes every class, obstacle course, and coaching session.

Children are encouraged to move carefully, build technique, and gain confidence step by step instead of rushing through challenges. It is one of the reasons many parents say the programmes feel different from traditional sports academies or fitness classes.

Inside the obstacle training concept, children actually enjoy

Walking into a Pinpoint Fitness session feels less like entering a gym and more like stepping into an indoor adventure zone designed around movement.

Children swing across bars, climb through obstacle setups, jump between platforms, and test their balance across different stations. But behind the fun atmosphere is a structured training system built to improve coordination, body control, focus, and resilience.

The sessions are inspired by parkour and ninja-style obstacle training, but the environment stays welcoming rather than intimidating.

In Dubai especially, where parents are constantly searching for meaningful indoor activities during the hotter months, concepts like this have found a strong audience.

Many families now want programmes that keep children active without making exercise feel repetitive or overly competitive. That shift has helped youth movement studios and obstacle-training centres become increasingly popular across the UAE.

Fitness classes built around confidence and inclusion

One of the biggest reasons Pinpoint Fitness has grown through word-of-mouth is its focus on inclusive training.

The programmes are designed for children of different abilities, including those on the autism spectrum and children with neurodiverse needs. Coaches use structured routines, guided progression, and supportive sessions to help children feel comfortable while developing physical and social skills.

Parents have shared stories about children becoming more confident in social situations, improving concentration, and feeling more comfortable trying new challenges.

That human side of the programme has become a major part of the brand’s identity.

Across the UAE, conversations around neurodiversity and inclusive learning environments have become far more visible in recent years. Schools, activity centres, and wellness spaces are slowly adapting to support different developmental needs, and fitness programmes are now becoming part of that wider conversation too.

The move that expands Pinpoint beyond Dubai

After building a strong community in Dubai, expanding into Abu Dhabi made sense.

The capital has seen rising demand for family-focused wellness spaces, especially in residential areas where parents want accessible after-school activities for children.

The new Deerfields Mall branch brings the company’s obstacle training model closer to families living in Abu Dhabi without needing regular trips to Dubai.

Founder Samer Hijazi said the expansion reflects the company’s long-term vision of making structured physical development available to more children.

“What we have built in Dubai — a system that develops technique, builds confidence, and delivers visible results — is something every child deserves access to,” he explained.

That message connects strongly with many UAE parents today. Fitness is no longer only about physical strength. Families are also looking for activities that improve focus, independence, communication, and confidence.

Nairobi becomes Pinpoint’s first international move

While the Abu Dhabi opening strengthens the company’s local presence, the Nairobi launch is an even bigger milestone behind the scenes.

The Kenya branch is officially Pinpoint Fitness’ first international franchise, signalling the start of a wider global expansion strategy.

The company plans to license its obstacle-based training methodology to franchise partners in new markets while maintaining the same coaching standards and child-focused approach developed in Dubai.

It is another example of how homegrown UAE brands are beginning to expand internationally after finding success locally.

Over the past few years, Dubai-born concepts in wellness, hospitality, and fitness have increasingly entered global markets, carrying with them business models shaped by the UAE’s diverse and family-focused lifestyle culture.

The rising demand for structured youth wellness programmes

The popularity of concepts like Pinpoint Fitness reflects a larger shift happening across the country.

Parents are moving beyond traditional extracurricular activities and looking for experiences that combine movement, personal development, and emotional well-being.

Obstacle training naturally keeps children engaged because every session feels different. Instead of repetitive drills, children solve physical challenges, test coordination, and gradually push their comfort zones.

For many families, that balance between fun and structured development is exactly what makes these programmes stand out.

As Pinpoint Fitness expands into Abu Dhabi and Nairobi, the company appears to be tapping into a growing demand for activity spaces that support children physically, socially, and emotionally — all at the same time.
