According to reports, the shoot came to a screeching halt over some unpaid dues. But a source of ETimes just set the record straight. The real reason behind the pause was the tragic Pahalgam attack. The crew was all set to film in the stunning locales of Kashmir, but safety took priority and the cameras stopped rolling.
As reported by ETimes, “70% of the shoot of Welcome To The Jungle is already done. The remaining 30% was to be scheduled in Kashmir, but because of the unfortunate Pahalgam attack, the plan got pushed. The entire schedule was locked, which included helicopters, over 250 horses with horsemen, and 1200 junior artists.”
Welcome to the Jungle wasn’t just another shoot, it was a full-blown cinematic circus. Unfortunately, just as the Kashmir schedule was locked in, the Pahalgam tragedy hit, stalling plans mid-gallop.
The source assured, “Everything is on track. All 34 actors are excited and set to commence the last marathon schedule and will begin post-rains on a different location,” they added.
