The singer took to Twitter to share his thoughts, saying, “Something I wanted to share with you all…”
In his message, he expressed his gratitude for having the opportunity to represent team RRR and perform at the Oscars for the best original song category. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of a few people, including director SS Rajamouli, choreographer Prem Rakshith, and others who played a significant role in making the song a success.
However, his post received backlash from some fans who felt that the lead actors were not given enough credit for the song’s popularity. They criticized Bhairava for his omission and claimed that Ram Charan and Jr NTR were instrumental in making the song a worldwide hit.
Bhairava clarified his statement in a subsequent tweet, expressing that he has no doubt that Tarak anna and Charan anna were the reason for the success of ‘Naatu Naatu’ and RRR itself. He explained that his note was only meant to highlight those who helped him get his opportunity for the academy stage performance and apologized for any misunderstanding.
