Among the Affordable Cities in the World, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah have secured positions in the top ten most affordable cosmopolitan cities globally, according to a recent survey by Workyard Research. Kuwait heads the list, renowned for its low living costs relative to an average monthly income of $6,199 for its residents making it the most Affordable City in the world. In contrast, New York ranked as the least affordable city due to its exorbitant living expenses despite high earnings.

Affordable Cities in the World: Abu Dhabi emerged as the second most affordable city on the list, with residents enjoying an average monthly income of around $7,154 and spending approximately $873.10 on living expenses. Riyadh secured the third spot, boasting an average monthly earning of $6,245 and living costs of $814.90. Both Abu Dhabi and Riyadh offer an enticing combination of substantial paychecks and economical living costs.

Affordable Cities: Dubai and Sharjah clinched the fourth and fifth places, with residents earning $7,118 and $5,229 per month, respectively. Monthly living expenses in these cities stood at $1,007 and $741.30. The research considered factors like rent, food, and utilities in analyzing data from 20 cities to determine the best places for a high-earning, low-cost lifestyle.

Outside the Middle East, Melbourne in Australia stands out as an attractive destination, with residents earning an average of $7,312 per month and spending around $1,079.20 on living costs. Oslo, Norway, follows closely, offering an average monthly income of $7,543 and living costs of about $1,121.50.London and San Francisco secured the 8th and 9th positions, with residents earning $8,411 and $9,249 monthly, respectively. Living expenses in these cities are slightly higher, at $1,260.80 and $1,440.10 monthly. Zurich completes the top ten, where residents earn approximately $9,222 monthly and spend roughly $1,815.20 on living costs.

Notably, New York presents a challenge for residents, with an average monthly income of $4,205 and living costs reaching $1,448. This stark difference underscores the varied balance between income and living expenses across cities worldwide.

Workyard Research emphasized the significance of these findings, urging individuals to consider these cities for potential relocation based on their income and cost-of-living preferences. The survey highlights the diverse opportunities and challenges posed by different global cities in achieving a desirable financial equilibrium.
