1. Reporting the Loss:

The first thing to do is head to an ICP Customer Happiness Centre and report your lost card. They’ll deactivate it for you, and don’t forget to grab an ID number confirmation and a copy of the lost ID.

2. Presenting Identification:

For UAE nationals, bring your original valid passport and a family book. If you’re a GCC national, show a document proving your residency in the UAE. Expats, on the other hand, need to bring their original passports stamped with a valid residency permit.

3. Filling Out the Application Form:

Make life easier by using the UAE ICP app to fill in the application form for your new Emirates ID. It’s a simple and user-friendly way to get the process going smoothly.

4. Paying the Fees:

Be ready to shell out some cash for your replacement card. The standard cost is Dhs300 for the new card, plus an extra Dhs40 if you’re applying online. Want it faster? An express service is available for an additional Dhs150.

5. Awaiting Confirmation:

Once you’ve submitted your replacement request, keep an eye on your phone for a text message from ICP. It’ll tell you when to expect your new Emirates ID, usually within 48 hours. With express service, you’ll get it even quicker – within 24 hours.

6. Arranging Delivery:

The last step, contact Emirates Post to sort out the delivery of your new card. The process is efficient, making it hassle-free from reporting the loss to holding your replacement Emirates ID.

Replacing a lost Emirates ID is as easy as six steps, and with express services available, it’s quick too. Stay organized, follow the steps, and soon you’ll have your new Emirates ID in your hands.

If you need more help or information, reach out to the relevant authorities, and stay updated through official channels. Keep it simple, stay on top of things, and your new Emirates ID is just a few steps away!
