1) Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
Since she entered the Bigg Boss house, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has been the talk of the town. A professional actress and model who made her debut in 2016, the young Rajasthani rose to fame in 2021 following her role as Tejo Sandhu in the TV show ‘Udaariyan.’ She has also made cameos in various other shows like ‘Parineeti’ and ‘Yeh Hai Chahetein’. Moreover, her current stint in Bigg Boss 16 has further increased her popularity, as her fans rally for her to win the trophy. Her fiery personality and close friendship with co-contestants Ankit Gupta and Archana Gautam have made her one of the most anticipated players in the show. She has also appeared in some music videos since then, the actress was selected to star in her first TV series, ‘Gathbandhan’, in 2018.
2) Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is a well-known personality in the television industry, having gained immense fame with her portrayal of Meher in ‘Choti Sardarni’. She is known to be an integral part of the ‘Mandali’ group in Bigg Boss 16, a group of friends who stick together and grow together. Before venturing into television, she had already made a name for herself as a model and won several accolades in Femina Miss India 2018, as well as bagging the title of Femina Miss Manipur. Coming from a military background and hailing from Delhi, she is also a highly qualified lawyer. Nimrit is a star on the rise and her journey has just begun.
4) Shalin Bhanot
Shalin Bhanot is an actor who is no stranger to the limelight, having achieved fame for his role in the hit TV show Naagin. The actor has been in the television industry for almost two decades now and his claim to fame began with his audition for ‘Roadies’ back in 2004. Shalin also featured in ‘Saat Phere’ and ‘Kalvaddhu’ before making his Bollywood debut with ‘Pyare Mohan’. While his career has been full of highs and lows, the actor is known for his controversial love life and his turbulent relationship with former co-star Tina Datta.
5) Archana Gautam
Entering the Bigg Boss 16 house and instantly making a name for herself with her charming personality and entertaining wit, Archana Gautam has made waves in the modelling, acting and political arena. The 27-year-old beauty queen won Miss Uttar Pradesh in 2014 and went on to win Miss Bikini India as well. Her Bollywood debut came in 2015 with the comedy movie, ‘Great Grand Masti’, while she also has several other acting credits, such as in Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Haseena Parker’ and the movies Baaraat Company’ and ‘Junction Varanasi’. Additionally, the starlet has been featured in several music videos, including ‘Haale Dil’, ‘Nasha Zaada’, and ‘Buggu Oye’. All in all, Archana Gautam has made quite a name for herself in the entertainment industry.
6) MC Stan
MC Stan’s reputation as one of India’s leading hip-hop artists is indisputable, with a string of chart-topping singles and collaborations with renowned rappers like Raftaar, Ikka, and Seedhe Maut. Coming from the slums of Pune, Altaf Shaikh’s own journey to fame has been remarkable. His passion for diamonds and jewellery is also evident, with him becoming renowned for wearing an impressive ‘Hindi’ chain and ‘Tiranga’ ring – both of which symbolise his love for the country and language. In addition, he also sports an array of other jewels such as his ‘Slime’ and ‘Slatt’ chains. MC Stan’s work has undeniably helped to elevate India’s hip-hop scene.
