Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of the late legendary actress Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor, is one of the most talked about star-kids and actresses in Bollywood. Having started her career only recently, she has already made a name for herself in the industry. Janhvi was very close to her mother, and her sudden demise in 2018 was a huge shock to the whole family and nation as the industry lost its most beloved actress. As the fifth death anniversary of her mother approaches, Janhvi penned an emotional note remembering her mother.
In the Instagram post, Janhvi shared a lovely picture of herself with Sridevi. The candid picture shows the mother-daughter duo engrossed in conversation at an event. In her emotional note, Janhvi revealed that she still looks for her mother everywhere and does everything hoping to make her mother proud. She also mentioned that everything she does starts and ends with Sridevi. Sridevi’s untimely death has left a void in Janhvi’s life that can never be filled.
Recently, Boney Kapoor announced that he would be launching an autobiography of Sridevi on her fifth death anniversary. The book, titled “Sridevi – The Life of a Legend,” will be published this year and is written by Dhiraj Kumar. The book is expected to portray the life of the legendary actress who died at the young age of 54.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the movie “Mili,” where she played a challenging role and it was critically acclaimed. She will be seen next in “Bawaal” alongside Varun Dhawan, which is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is scheduled to release in theatres on 7th April 2023. Janhvi also has “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi” in the pipeline, which also stars Rajkummar Rao. With her talent and dedication, Janhvi is sure to become a force to be reckoned with in the Bollywood industry.
