It’s Official! Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh to Star in Battle of Galwan by Apoorva Lakhia

Battle of Galwan just got a casting update that’s as fresh as it gets! Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh are teaming up for the very first time, and this never-seen-before jodi is about to raise the love quotient. From the war front to the big screen, this pairing screams power, elegance, and some serious drama.

Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh unite

Just when you thought Bollywood had served all its iconic duos, Battle of Galwan drops a bombshell. Salman Khan is all set to share screen space with the ever-graceful Chitrangda Singh, and trust us, this casting twist is hotter than Ladakh in June.

Director Apoorva Lakhia, known for turning real-life chaos into compelling cinema, is bringing Chitrangda onboard, and he couldn’t be more thrilled. He admits, “I’ve always wanted to work with Chitrangda since I watched her amazing performance in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and then Bob Biswas. We’re thrilled to welcome Chitrangda Singh to the cast of Battle of Galwan. Chitrangda brings a rare blend of strength and sensitivity to the screen as her feminine side will match perfectly with Salman Sir’s brooding but quiet strength.”

So what made Lakhia pick Chitrangda for this powerful role? Apparently, it was her quiet strength, her natural poise, and some candid photos taken at India Gate! Those snaps screamed “war heroine” more than any screen test. He needed steel wrapped in silk, and Chitrangda fits that bill.

Don’t get it twisted, this isn’t a song-and-dance romance. The Battle of Galwan is rooted in the raw reality of the 2020 border clash. But with a duo like Salman and Chitrangda, expect the emotional warfare to hit just as hard as the action scenes. It’s patriotic, poignant, and packed with power.

Production for this high-stakes war drama kicks off later this year, and the excitement levels are already peaking. With a storyline that salutes real-life heroes and a cast that oozes both charm and command, Battle of Galwan is clearly gearing up to be Bollywood’s big bang moment of the year.

Whether it’s Salman’s on-screen bravado or Chitrangda’s quiet magnetism, Battle of Galwan is giving us all the right reasons to mark our calendars.
