Sharjah is launching the UAE’s first dedicated Holy Quran TV channel on August 16, 2024. This channel, the first of its kind in the UAE, will provide continuous Quranic recitations and religious content, bringing the teachings of the Quran closer to the community.
A 24/7 Quranic Experience
The Holy Quran Channel will be broadcasting khatmah—a complete recitation of the Quran—from start to finish every day. Viewers can tune in at any time to listen to these recitations by well-known Quranic scholars and reciters. The channel will also feature short, easy-to-understand educational programs designed to help people grasp important religious concepts.
Holy Quran TV channel: Sharjah’s Vision for Religious Media
This channel is part of Sharjah’s effort to promote Islam and make religious knowledge accessible. Salem Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, stated it will serve as a model for religious broadcasting in the UAE. The slogan, “Be with God and you will see God with you,” highlights its goal of encouraging spiritual growth.

The launch of the Holy Quran Channel is a significant development in the UAE’s media landscape. Khalifa Hassan Khalaf, the channel’s director, mentioned that the content will focus on Quranic sciences, aiming to set new standards for religious media.
