Alia Bhatt is one of the most promising actors in Bollywood. This year has been a great kickstart for her. From her debut at the Met Gala to becoming the brand ambassador for Gucci, it’s only a climb up the ladder. Alia recently attend Netflix’s Global Fan Event TUDUM 2023 in Sao Paulo, Brazil where she unveiled the trailer of her Hollywood debut movie Heart of Stone along with her co-stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
On Sunday, June 18, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram to share the trailer of Heart of Stone. Along with her Hollywood debut, there are a lot of firsts. It’s her first time playing an antagonist in the movie. Even, it’s her first action-packed thriller film.
The trailer unveils Gal Gadot in the role of Rachel Stone, a covert operative working for the agency known as ‘Charter’. When the government falls short, Charter takes charge, boasting a team of exceptionally skilled agents. Rachel’s mission in the trailer is to protect a valuable item known as ‘The Heart’. The excitement intensifies as Alia Bhatt’s character, Keya Dhawan, enters the scene and cunningly steals The Heart – the McGuffin. In a thrilling twist, Alia embraces her villainous persona, boldly declaring, “Now you answer to me,” as she attempts to overpower Gal Gadot. The stage is set for an epic showdown between these two formidable forces.

The movie Heart of Stone is directed by Tom Harper. It also features Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighofer, Jing Lusi, and Paul Ready. It will stream on the OTT Giant Netflix from August 11.
Alia Bhatt work front
On the work front, Alia will star in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Ranveer Singh which is scheduled to release on July 28. She also has Jee Le Zaraa which stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif. Alia reportedly also has Nitesh Tiwari‘s Ramayana where she will play Sita opposite her husband Ranbir Kapoor as Ram.
