Dubai is set to boast yet another iconic venue! The wait is finally over as Atlantis The Royal, Palm Jumeirah, is set to open doors this weekend. Initially set to open in October 2022, the launch was rescheduled for 2023. And now, a grand opening is scheduled this weekend with an invite-only mega-event, which will be graced by VIP guests and A-list celebrities in attendance. Here’s what’s in store at this gala affair!

For starters, no event in Dubai is complete without fireworks! And this one’s not left out too! Atlantis The Royal will put on a dazzling firework show as they welcome VIPs into the new venue. But, the pomp and glamour does not end there. Music superstar Beyoncé will be performing at the grand occasion, her first full concert in five years. And, a little birdie tells us the concerts comes at a hefty price tag of $24 million.
The popular DJ trio behind chart topping songs like Don’t You Worry Child, Save the World and Moth to a Flame will also be showing off their skills at the opening. Besides, biggies like Jay-Z, Kendall Jenner and Chef Nobu are also on the guest list for the evening. Well, while the grand event is not open to the public, the fireworks show will be on display around the hotel, for every one to enjoy.
Atlantis The Royal is 43 storeys high, offering infinite views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island. Stays at this iconic resort come with stylish interiors, 44 private infinity pools, and great outdoor lounging areas. The private balconies, expansive terraces and private pools create a feeling of sitting amongst the clouds. The hotel will feature 231 luxury apartments, 693 hotel rooms and 102 suites, overlooking the Arabian Gulf.
Once open, the hotel will feature top notch restaurants run by celebrity chefs, some of which include Gastón Acurio, Costas Spiliadis, Ariana Bundy, Heston Blumenthal and José Andrés. In a nutshell, this is a stay that you’ll show off for years to come.
Booking are now open for dates starting February 10 with the Sky Terrace Suite which starts at AED17,417 per night.
