Sunny Deol and Farhan Akhtar team up
Excel Entertainment is back, and they’re bringing Sunny Deol into the mix for an action-packed thriller. This is the same gang that gave us Dil Chahta Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and Gully Boy. They even backed the intense, gritty world of KGF, so you know they mean business. Now, they’re teaming up with Bollywood’s original action icon, Sunny Deol. The title’s still under wraps, but who needs it when Sunny’s already shaking the screen? We’re expecting drama, explosions, and classic Deol-style dhamaka. When Sunny enters the frame, the story doesn’t walk, it storms in.
According to the latest Pinkvilla scoop, this is Sunny’s first-ever collaboration with Excel, and it’s being described as a “big-budget, high-concept action thriller.” The source shared, “Sunny Deol is set to team up with Excel Entertainment for the first time on a big-budget action thriller.” The source further added, “The yet untitled action thriller will mark the first collaboration between Sunny Deol and Excel Entertainment. The two stakeholders have been in talks for a while now, and are excited to collaborate on a high-concept big-budget action thriller. Sunny loves the script and is excited to partner with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani on the film.”
This film will also introduce us to Balaji, a debut director who’s already earned his stripes working on Tamil blockbusters. So yeah, it’s fresh blood meets seasoned dynamite. Expect edge-of-the-seat action, heavy drama, and Sunny Deol doing what he does best, setting the screen on fire without breaking a sweat.
