Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced an increase in the minimum Nol card top-up amount at Metro station vending machines. Starting March 1, 2025, the minimum amount to recharge a Nol card at these machines will be AED 20, up from the previous AED 5.

To board any Dubai Metro, bus, tram, or waterbus, a Nol card must have a minimum balance of AED 7.50.
