Dubai Allocates 830 New Homes in Wadi Al Amardi and Al Aweer Projects Worth Dh1.6 Billion

MBRHE rolls out its largest housing batch yet, offering modern homes designed for privacy, expansion, and family living

Dubai housing projects are taking a major step forward as Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment begins allocating 830 ready homes to Emirati citizens across Wadi Al Amardi and Al Aweer. Valued at Dh1.6 billion, this marks the largest batch of completed homes distributed by the authority to date.

The move aligns with the UAE’s Year of the Family 2026 and reflects long-term efforts to improve housing standards, stability, and quality of life for citizens.

A Major Step in Dubai’s Housing Vision

The initiative comes under the directives of Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, with support from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It highlights Dubai’s continued focus on providing high-quality housing while supporting family wellbeing.

Out of the total allocation:

  • 398 homes are located in Al Aweer
  • 432 homes are in Wadi Al Amardi

Together, these developments form part of a wider plan to create sustainable, well-connected communities rather than just residential clusters.

Designed for Privacy, Space, and Future Growth

Each home has been built with modern Emirati family needs in mind. The layouts prioritise privacy while allowing flexibility for future expansion.

Key features include:

  • Four spacious bedrooms
  • A dedicated majlis for hosting guests
  • Living areas designed for family use
  • Fully equipped modern kitchens
  • Utility and service rooms
  • Outdoor space for future extensions

Each unit offers a built-up area of around 4,000 sq. ft. within a total plot size of 4,500 sq. ft.

What stands out is the forward-thinking design. Families can expand their homes over time without major structural changes. This reflects how housing in Dubai is evolving beyond basic needs to long-term lifestyle planning.

Smart Allocation Process Through DubaiNow

The allocation process itself has also been upgraded. MBRHE is using smart systems to ensure efficiency and transparency.

Homes are assigned through a digital reservation system available on the DubaiNow app.

Here’s how it works:

  • Eligible beneficiaries are contacted directly
  • They receive booking details via the system
  • They are invited to visit the allocation centres on-site

Centres operate:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

According to officials, this digital approach reduces waiting time, improves clarity, and simplifies the entire experience for citizens.

Community Living with Full Infrastructure

Both Wadi Al Amardi and Al Aweer projects are more than just housing developments. They are planned communities with integrated infrastructure and services.

Residents can expect:

  • Modern road networks
  • Public parks and green spaces
  • Community facilities and majlis halls
  • Easy access to essential services

This focus on community living plays a key role in improving the overall quality of life. Families are not just given homes—they are placed in environments designed to support social interaction, convenience, and well-being.

Financial Support and Furnishing Grant

Alongside the housing allocation, a Dh83 million grant has been introduced to help beneficiaries furnish their homes.

This step reduces the financial burden on families moving into new properties and ensures homes are ready for immediate use.

The initiative also reflects a broader shift in housing support—from just providing property to enabling a complete living experience.

Strengthening Social Stability Through Housing

Officials have highlighted that the project goes beyond infrastructure. It is part of a wider effort to strengthen social stability and improve living standards for Emirati families.

By offering well-designed homes in fully equipped communities, the government aims to:

  • Support family growth
  • Enhance wellbeing
  • Create long-term residential stability

This aligns with Dubai’s larger vision of building a sustainable and inclusive future for its citizens.

The latest Dubai housing projects in Wadi Al Amardi and Al Aweer mark a significant milestone in the city’s development strategy. With 830 homes allocated, smart systems in place, and a strong focus on family living, the initiative reflects a clear direction—housing that is modern, practical, and built for the future.
