Actress Alia Bhatt said on Tuesday that her first movie as a producer, Darlings, will appear on Netflix. Through her company, Eternal Sunshine Productions, the 29-year old actor is both starring in and producing the movie with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
This is my first movie as a producer, and it’s a Red Chillies movie. We are quite pleased and proud of how the movie has turned out, and we hope that it will engage and excite viewers everywhere,

Writer Jasmeet K. Reen makes her directing debut with the dark comedy Darlings.
The movie, which is set in Mumbai, is shot in a traditional lower middle-class neighbourhood.
It delves into the lives of a mother- daughter team battling against all difficulties to establish their place in the city while searching for courage and love under unusual circumstances.
The official release date of the movie has not yet been disclosed by Bhatt or Netflix.The actress claimed in a statement that Darlings had a “special place in my heart.””This is my first movie as a producer, and it’s a Red Chillies movie.
