Botim Launches International Money Transfer Service With An Ad On Burj Khalifa

We UAE-ites love technology, and if there’s one that is our all-time favourite, it has to be Botim. Since Whatsapp video calls are banned in the country, everyone uses Botim to connect with their loved ones in India and other countries. And now, to take the app to the next level, the Botim app has now launched its money transfer service. Fintech firm Astra Tech launched the service on Burj Khalifa. Now that’s one grand launch, right? Read on for all the deets. 

Botim, an app in collaboration between Astra Tech and MoneyGram, will allow people to send money in real time to more than 150 countries. With a reported user base of 100 million people, one can use the service to transfer funds instantly to their bank accounts and mobile wallets. Besides, the feature can also be used at over 400,000 cash pick-up locations across countries including- India, Pakistan, Morocco, Uganda, South Africa, and the USA.

Botim took to Instagram and shared this news with its followers and captioned the post: “We’re thrilled to share our moment of glory with you all – WE WERE ON THE #BURJKHALIFA!
