How it's Done
At Social Kandura, we take the responsibility of recognizing culinary excellence seriously (as you can tell by our fantastic food reviews and recommendations 😉). Our judging process for the Social Kandura F+B Awards is rigorous and thorough, ensuring that only the finest establishments are awarded.
Anonymity
Our expert judges visit nominated restaurants anonymously and pay for their own meals, ensuring an unbiased dining experience. By remaining incognito, our judges can provide honest and impartial assessments of each establishment.
Experienced Food Critics
Our judges are dedicated, full-time food critics with extensive experience in the culinary world. Their profound knowledge and passion for food allow them to deliver detailed evaluations of each restaurant they visit.
Rating Criteria
Each restaurant is assessed using an extensive set of judging criteria, specially crafted by our team to ensure a thorough and fair evaluation. These criteria include factors such as Quality of Food, Ambience, Value for Money, Customer Service and Innovation.
Scoring
After sampling each dish, our reviewers assign numerical scores based on their assessment of the judging criteria. These scores are tallied to determine the overall rating for the restaurant.
Award Categories
Fine Dine
Celebrating excellence in fine dining, this category honors establishments that provide an exceptional culinary experience through exquisite cuisine, outstanding service, and an elegant atmosphere; setting the standard for luxury and sophistication in the culinary world.
Asian

At the Social Kandura F+B Awards, we prioritize transparency and excellence. With Dubai’s vibrant culinary scene and abundance of restaurants, it’s important to identify and celebrate the best of the best. That’s why our rating criterias are meticulously crafted to reflect fairness and our core values like culinary innovation and customer satisfaction. We have carefully selected each element to ensure that only the most outstanding eateries are awarded.
Food Quality
We evaluate taste, freshness, and presentation, ensuring each dish meets the highest culinary standards.
Ambience
We consider interior design, lighting, and vibes. Whether a rooftop lounge or a cozy bistro, ambiance enhances the dining experience.
Value For Money
We assess portion sizes, ingredient quality, and pricing to ensure diners receive exceptional value.
Customer Service
We prioritize attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism. Personalized recommendations and seamless coordination elevate the experience.
Innovation
We celebrate inventive dishes and techniques that push boundaries, such as molecular gastronomy or themed dining experiences.
General Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy
- Complete the online registration form and submit it using the Nomination Button.
- Your entry will be reviewed and vetted by our award committee to confirm its eligibility for the selected category.
- Social Kandura reserves the right to disqualify entries as necessary.
- Email pr@socialkandura.com to update your company profile if there are any changes to the participating restaurant’s information.
- Social Kandura will not be responsible for incorrect profile information if updates (such as changes in contacts, name, or category) are not communicated.
- Authorized company representatives who submit entries will be considered the primary point of contact unless otherwise notified.
- Once entries have been successfully submitted, cancellations will not be accepted. By submitting the nomination form, the company commits to participating in the Social Kandura F&B Awards for the full duration of the 6-month campaign.
