In a dazzling new collaboration, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Ali Fazal are set to star opposite each other in Raj & DK’s ambitious project, Rakht Brahmand. This fantasy period drama is already creating quite the buzz, and with these two powerhouses leading the cast, it’s bound to be a hit.
After winning hearts as Guddu Pandit in Mirzapur Season 3, Ali Fazal is all set to take on a lead role in Rakht Brahmand. He’s joining an ensemble cast that includes the dashing Aditya Roy Kapur and the talented Wamiqa Gabbi. With Rahi Anil Barve of Tumbbad fame directing, this series promises to be a visual and narrative treat.
According to a little birdie, Rakht Brahmand is a magnum opus from the visionary minds of Raj & DK. This project is a giant leap forward in the fantasy drama genre.
The source teased, “The project is a marvellous vision of Raj & DK, it’s definitely a step forward in its genre of fantasy drama. The cast has finally all been locked and the shoot it set to start next week. Ali will be shooting for the series through August while also completing small schedules of his other projects. The show can to him and the vision of the show was enough to get Ali excited to be part of the series. It’s a really interesting part, something he has never done before both from character perspective and also genre wise.”
What’s Next for Ali Fazal?
Apart from Rakht Brahmand, Ali Fazal has an impressive lineup of projects. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino and Lahore 1947, produced by Aamir Khan. Plus, he’s all set to star in Thug Life, directed by the legendary Mani Ratnam.
