This year Akshay Kumar has back-to-back releases, there’s no stopping for him and fans can’t keep calm. Just a few days back news emerged that Oh My God 2 is set to release on August 11. Now, another of his much-awaited film The Great Indian Rescue has got a release date.
About The Great Indian Rescue
The Great Indian Rescue is based on a true life event of Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill who led India’s first coal mine rescue mission. Starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, the film will release in theatres worldwide on 5th October 2023. The movie was earlier named as Capsule Gill.
This movie also marks the comeback of this dynamic duo. Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starred together in the movie 2019 movie Kesari.
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani and Ajay Kapoor, the film is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.
On the work front
Akshay Kumar has a bunch of projects lined up. The actor will next be seen in OMG 2 alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. He will also star with Tiger Shroff in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. In addition to all the above movies, the actor is currently also working on Hera Pheri 3 reprising his iconic role as Raju.
On the other hand, Parineeti Chopra has been making quite the headlines with her to-be beau Raghav Chadha. The couple is expected to tie the knot later this year. Coming to her professional life, the actor will be starring alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the movie Chamkila.
