A world renowned obstacle course for adults & kids is coming to RAK this march

Fitness freaks, put on your shoes and get muddy! The region’s famous obstacle course Tough Mudder is all set to be back for yet another edition. The challenge will welcoming thousands of new and returning Mudders to come together on a life-changing adventure and face the ultimate challenge of physical strength, stamina and mental grit. Up for the challenge? Here are the deets!

Tough Mudder, which is making its fifth trip to Ras Al Khaimah, is anticipated to showcase a number of nerve-wracking and thrilling obstacles over the coming weeks.

The challenge will take place at RAK Properties’ Mina Al Arab on 18 March. Tickets for the competition can be purchased online. The Tough Mudder course starts at AED 140 while Little Mudders can make their way in at AED 70.

Participants will encounter the Electroshock Therapy- where you’ll have to sprint your way through a muddy terrain filled with dangling wires, delivering a punch at 10,000 volts. In addition, there’s also another called Blockness. This one’s an epic yet tricky obstacle where Mudders will have to push, pull and roll their way through 60ft of slick, rotating barriers.

The 2023 edition will have a 10k circuit with more than 20 challenges open to participants aged 14 and up and a 5k course with 13 obstacles open to participants aged 13 and up. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 will be tested by Mini Mudder’s 1.5-kilometer obstacle mud run on a newly created course.

And, all participants will also get a finisher headbands, finisher t-shirts and photos of them at the race.
