From world-class events, concerts and exhibitions, to award winning attractions, centuries old culture and the city’s best kept secrets – Sharjah promises to offer something for everyone. And, this Ramadan the emirate has rolled out a fun-filled event for friends and families. If you like all things food, this is where you must be this Ramadan. A World of Flavours – a night food festival in Al Qasba is taking place from March 30 to April 8, from 10pm to 12:45am. Read on for more details.

Meet Chefs, Watch Live Cooking, & Win Exciting Prizes At Sharjah’s Night Food Fest

If you enjoy watching those satisfying food carving videos online, you’re in for a treat! Sharjah’s night food fest features exciting competitions, such as live mocktail making and bread decoration. Guests can watch the who’s who of the culinary world flaunt their skills at the professional food arena, which is part of the food jamboree.

Besides, you can also show off your skills by taking part in the ice carving, fruits and vegetables carving, chocolate carving competitions. Guests will also get to meet and interact with Emirati chef Hanan Al-Dawla and Greek chef Alexandros Pavlopoulos and watch them cook live.

And, how can any food fest be complete without some food hopping! True to its name, A World Of Flavours will boast food trucks and vendors where you eat to your heart’s content. And while you’re happy binging, you don’t need to worry about your kids. Why, you ask? The event is for the whole family, so there are activities for children such as a boot camp and zumba classes for kids, and family cooking sessions.

Lastly, the event is set to close with a prize distribution ceremony with influencer Khalid Al Matrooshi and Emirati actor Abdullah Saeed bin Haider.

That aside, several other pockets of Sharjah also has grand events taking place this Ramadan. Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, Khor Fakkan Beach, and Al Montazah Park are hosting Ramadan Nights for the whole family. Guests can enjoy live music, food, and more at these night markets. The Ramadan Nights takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9pm to 11:45 pm. The events will run until 9 April.

Spend the evening at sharjah’s ramadan festival

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has announced the launch date of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2023. The 33rd edition of the festival, will run from 22nd March until 25th April. During this period, the fest will celebrate the holy month in various cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The organising committee of the event revealed the slogan of the festival, which will be “Ramadan is happier with you”, inspired by the spirit of cohesive Emirati families.

The event is set to bring together family members in an atmosphere of love and joy celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan.

SCCI affirmed this year’s is an exceptional edition that enhances the status of the festival, which has become a landmark and a prominent social and economic event within the agenda of the distinguished events taking place in the country, as well as being an important station for revitalising various economic sectors, specifically retail trade and reviving the hospitality sector, thus supporting the business community.
