Expo 2020 might be over, but you’ve still got reasons to visit the Expo City. Apart from hopping around pavilions and the restaurants, the city also hosts fun winter activities. There’s one such activity happening this weekend and you certainly don’t wana miss it!
Love watching movies? If this is the case, you have yet another excuse to go to Expo City Dubai. For the first time, The City has teamed up with Vox cinemas. That means, you can watch you’re favourite film in Jubilee Park with family and friends ‘under the stars’.
Expo City will showcase movies on a huge screen this weekend. The only catch is that access is first-come, first-served, despite the fact that the event is entirely free. If you don’t want to miss this chance, go there early and secure a space.
Over 500 lawn chairs and 50 tables with a maximum height of 6 feet are part of a sizable lawn setup. Additionally, visitors can get their blankets and picnic seats for a comfortable night beneath the stars.
At a special screening, family-friendly movies will be screened. Additionally, since pets are permitted at the screenings, it is the ideal family outing. The experience runs from Friday, February 10 to 18 and two movies will be screened daily. The schedule or the list of movies is not out yet, but we’re keeping our eyes peeled.
As for tickets the post on social media says ‘free access for all Expo City visitors’, so if you are planning on catching a flick here, make sure you go early to nab a spot.
