Jazeera Airways Launches 38 Eid Destinations and New Milan Flights From Kuwait

The Kuwaiti low-cost carrier is adding more holiday routes this Eid, including a new direct connection to Milan Bergamo starting later this month.

As residents across the Gulf begin locking in their Eid and summer travel plans, Jazeera Airways is giving travellers more options to work with this season.

The Kuwait-based airline has announced an expanded holiday network covering 38 destinations across 17 countries, alongside a brand-new direct route between Kuwait and Milan Bergamo in Italy, launching on May 22, 2026.

For travellers in the UAE and wider GCC, it comes at the right time. Flights during Eid periods usually fill up quickly, especially on popular European and regional routes. This latest expansion opens the door to more affordable getaways, quick family visits, and shorter stop-free journeys during one of the busiest travel seasons of the year.

Jazeera Airways adds more destinations ahead of Eid rush

Airports across the Gulf are already beginning to feel busier than usual. School holidays are approaching, Eid Al Adha travel plans are taking shape, and many residents are searching for destinations that are easy to reach without spending hours in transit.

That is exactly where Jazeera Airways seems to be positioning itself.

The airline’s expanded network now covers destinations across the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe, and the Indian subcontinent. Familiar favourites such as Dubai, Istanbul, Cairo, Tbilisi, Baku, and Kathmandu remain part of the growing route map.

Its Indian network also continues to play a major role, especially for expatriates travelling home during the festive season. Existing destinations include Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kochi — routes that typically see packed flights around Eid holidays.

For many Gulf residents, especially families, direct and affordable flights can make all the difference during peak travel periods.

The new Milan route could become a summer favourite

One of the standout additions is the direct Kuwait to Milan Bergamo route launching on May 22.

Italy has quietly become one of the most popular summer destinations for GCC travellers over the past few years. Between the shopping streets of Milan, lakeside towns in northern Italy, and café-lined piazzas that stay lively late into the evening, the country offers a completely different pace compared to Gulf summers.

And for travellers who have done the usual London or Paris trips before, Milan often feels fresher and easier to explore over a long weekend.

The Bergamo connection also adds convenience. Instead of dealing with longer layovers or multi-stop itineraries, passengers will now have direct access to northern Italy from Kuwait.

For UAE travellers, this could also create more regional travel combinations through Kuwait, especially for those hunting for competitive summer fares.

GCC travel demand is picking up again

Across Dubai airports and regional hubs, the signs are already there. More families are travelling with children. More residents are planning quick breaks before peak summer temperatures arrive. More last-minute searches for visa-friendly destinations.

Airlines have clearly noticed the shift.

Low-cost carriers in the region are expanding aggressively this year, with travellers increasingly prioritising value, convenience, and direct routes over luxury extras.

Destinations like Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and parts of Eastern Europe continue to remain popular because they offer shorter flight times, easier visa processes, and cooler weather — something Gulf residents actively look for by June and July.

Meanwhile, Europe is seeing another strong comeback for summer 2026, particularly among younger travellers and couples looking for flexible travel plans without huge airfare costs.

Kuwait continues expanding its aviation footprint

The airline’s growing network also reflects Kuwait’s wider aviation ambitions.

Over the last few years, Kuwait International Airport has steadily increased regional and international connectivity, with airlines adding new destinations and boosting flight frequencies during busy periods.

The new Milan Bergamo route is another sign that Gulf carriers are looking beyond traditional routes and tapping into destinations with rising tourism demand.

For travellers, that means more choices and often better pricing competition between airlines.

And during Eid travel season, extra options matter.

Anyone who has tried booking a last-minute Gulf-to-Europe flight during a holiday period knows how quickly ticket prices can jump.

More choices for UAE-based travellers

Although this announcement comes from Kuwait, it still matters for UAE residents who regularly fly across the GCC for better route options or lower fares.

Many travellers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi already compare regional airlines before finalising their holiday plans, especially during Eid and school breaks.

With airlines expanding routes earlier this year, travellers may find better opportunities to book Europe and Asia trips without the usual peak-season pricing pressure.

Still, travel demand is expected to rise sharply closer to Eid, meaning early bookings will likely offer the best value.

Jazeera Airways’ latest expansion shows how quickly regional travel demand is building ahead of Eid and summer 2026. With 38 destinations across 17 countries and a new direct route to Milan Bergamo, travellers across the Gulf now have even more options for affordable international trips.

For many residents planning their next getaway, the timing could not have come sooner.
