Flydubai Expands Routes with Three New Destinations in Iran

Flydubai adds three new direct flights to Iran, expanding travel options for UAE passengers

Flydubai is broadening its global reach by launching flights to three new destinations in Iran. Starting in March 2025, passengers can fly directly from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Bushehr, Tabriz, and Qeshm, enhancing connectivity between the UAE and Iran.

This expansion aligns with the airline’s commitment to connecting underserved markets and offering travelers more convenient flight options.


Flydubai’s New Routes and Flight Schedules

Flights to Bushehr and Tabriz

  • Launch Date: March 13, 2025
  • Frequency: Twice a week
  • Economy Class fares: Starting from AED 1,405 for Bushehr and AED 1,265 for Tabriz
  • Business Class fares: Available for both routes

Flights to Qeshm

  • Launch Date: March 14, 2025
  • Frequency: Three times a week
  • Economy Class fares: From AED 1,405
  • Business Class fares: Premium options available

All flights will depart from Terminal 2 at DXB, ensuring smooth access for travelers flying to these destinations.


Expansion and its importance

Flydubai’s network now covers over 130 destinations across 55 countries, with 97 of these routes previously underserved. This move not only strengthens Dubai’s role as a global travel hub but also creates new opportunities for business and leisure travelers between the UAE and Iran.

Jeyhun Efendi, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Flydubai, emphasized the airline’s mission to improve connectivity, saying that these new routes will provide greater accessibility for passengers while ensuring a comfortable travel experience.

Flydubai is known for its modern fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft, offering Business and Economy Class seating with premium in-flight services.

  • Business Class: Luxurious seating, gourmet meals, and priority services

Alongside these new Iranian routes, Flydubai has also announced:

Seasonal Flights to Antalya, Turkey

  • Start Date: June 5, 2025
  • Frequency: Daily from DXB Terminal 2
  • Economy Class fares: From AED 1,600
  • Business Class fares: Starting at AED 8,000

This seasonal route will operate until September 30, 2025, making it perfect for summer travel enthusiasts looking for a scenic beach escape.

Additionally, Emirates Airlines has announced three new routes to Shenzhen, China; Da Nang, Vietnam; and Siem Reap, Cambodia, further enhancing Dubai’s global connectivity.
