10 Places In Dubai Where You’ll Find Some Of The Most Epic Views

Dubai is a city that offers the best of everything. From towering skyscrapers to pristine beaches, you’ve got it all under one roof. And unsurprisingly, these make for pretty good views.

So, whether you’re looking to enjoy sea views or snapshots of Dubai’s concrete jungle, we’ve got you covered. Here’s where you’ll find some of the epic views in Dubai. Grab your camera!

1.    Zipline Over Dubai Marina

Can there be a better way to get a bird’s eye view of the city? One of the steepest and fastest ziplines in the world, XLine Dubai will let you soar over the city at an average speed of 80km per hour. Thanks to the GoPro cameras mounted on your helmet, you can re-live every minute of the experience even after you’ve finished the ride. If you’re an adrenaline junkie, this is a great way to soak in the mesmerizing views Dubai has to offer.

2.    Dubai Frame

Although not as majestic as the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Frame stands 48 floors high, offering a panoramic view of the city. The tower gives you a sneak peek of the modern version of Dubai on one side, the older side of the city on the other, and Dubai Creek on the other. Visitors can experience time travel from old to modern Dubai as they walk over the glass-bottomed frame, before returning to Earth to get a glimpse of Dubai’s future. Tickets are cheaper than at Burj Khalifa and the queues aren’t that bad either.

3.    Go On A Hot Air Balloon

Yet another adventurous way to capture the city’s captivating views, a hot air balloon ride is a must on your Dubai bucket list. The ride will kick off at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and will offer you dramatic views of the city. Be prepared for an early start as you will be picked up as early as 4:30 am to get prepped for the safety briefing before the lift-off.

Once up in the air, soak in the stunning sunrise as you spot gazelles and Arabian Oryx. The tour will end with a sumptuous breakfast and drop-off.

4.    Sky Dive Over Palm Jumeirah

Get set to experience one of the most spectacular views of Dubai, from 13,000 feet up in the air. Skydive Dubai takes on the ride of your life from their Palm Dropzone. Take in the incredible views of the Palm, followed by a thrilling freefall at 120km/hr. The sport is available only for participants between 12 and 60 years old. Besides, there’s also a host of other health requirements to be met. Definitely only for the brave.

5.    Ain Dubai

Standing at a spectacular 250metres high is the world’s tallest observation wheel – Ain Dubai. This is one of the coolest ways you can get up close and personal with the city. Docked in Bluewaters Island, the 48-minute ride will give you killer views of the Palm, JBR, the Burj Al Arab, and even the Burj Khalifa on a clear day.

6.    Go On A Helicopter Ride Over Dubai

It doesn’t get better than this! A helicopter ride over Dubai can be one of the most thrilling ways to explore the city from the sky. The 12-minute flight kicks off from the Dubai Police Academy Helipad, hovering over Palm Jumeirah, the Atlantis, and other famous landmarks in Dubai.

7.    The View At The Palm

One of the latest observation desks in the city, the View at the Palm is docked on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower. A 45-second lift ride takes you up to the 52nd floor where you can soak in 360-degree views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and beyond from an outdoor terrace and a premium lounge. Visitors can also spot other hidden landmarks in the city.

Apart from offering spectacular views, the attraction is also home to a museum and theatre, collectively called The View Exhibition. Guests can discover captivating stories about the creation of the Palm Jumeirah.

8.    The Address Beach Resort

This one certainly draws the eyes, thanks to the magnificent structure. The incredible resort overlooks JBR and boasts two towers, connected by a stunning sky bridge. Besides, the tower is also home to the world’s highest infinity pool, docked on the 77th floor. The pool offers spectacular views of Palm Jumeirah, JBR, and beyond. Besides, the restaurants perched by the pool serve up lip-smacking Asian dishes.

9.    Burj Al Arab

This is the best spot if you want to grab views all the way up Downtown. The world’s only seven-star hotel is perfect not just for a luxurious stay, but also for its stunning city views. And the best part is that you don’t have to stay in the hotel to enjoy the views. You can grab panoramic views of Dubai from the French restaurant Al Muntaha or head to the swanky bar at Gold on 27. Besides, Burj Al Arab also has a lot of delectable restaurants you might want to try.

10.  Burj Khalifa

Of course, the list wouldn’t be complete without the world’s tallest tower- the Burj Khalifa. Standing at a height of 829.8 metres, this one’s definitely not going to disappoint. Make it a memorable experience and watch a spectacular sunrise from levels 124 and 125 every Friday and Saturday from 5.30 am to 8.30 am, with breakfast afterward. Alternatively, you could also head to the observation decks on levels 124, 125, or 148 for uninhibited views of Downtown Dubai and beyond.
