Aligning with Dubai’s Transport Goals

Dubai has been expanding its public transport options, and Yango’s new feature supports this effort. According to Islam Abdul Karim, General Manager of Yango GCC, the goal is to create a transport system that’s efficient and eco-friendly. This aligns with Dubai’s plan to cut energy use in transport and increase electric vehicles.

Driving Sustainability with Electric Vehicles

Yango is also contributing to Dubai’s green targets by using electric vehicles in their fleet. Currently, 15% of Yango’s vehicles are electric, with more planned. This move shows Yango’s commitment to sustainable transport solutions.

User-Friendly Interface and Accessibility

The Yango app is designed to be easy for everyone to use. Whether you’re a daily commuter or a visitor, the app’s simple design and real-time updates make travel planning straightforward.

Future Expansion and Regional Impact

Yango plans to expand this service to Abu Dhabi soon, which will improve transport across the region. This expansion is part of Yango’s efforts to support better transport networks and improve life in both cities.

Community Response and Impact

Since its launch, the new feature has been well-received. During the recent Eid Al Adha holiday, more people used public transport, showing a growing interest in sustainable travel options.

Yango‘s new public transport feature is a big step forward for Dubai’s transport system. By offering comprehensive travel info in one app, Yango is making it easier for people to get around sustainably. As Yango expands to Abu Dhabi, more people will benefit from these improvements in urban mobility.
