Xiaomi Brings the REDMI Note 15 Series to the UAE

From ultra-durable smartphones to smart audio glasses and Mini LED TVs, Xiaomi expands its tech ecosystem in the UAE.

Xiaomi has officially launched the REDMI Note 15 Series in the UAE, adding a tougher, smarter, and more lifestyle-focused smartphone lineup to its growing portfolio in the region.

Unveiled in Dubai on January 15, 2026, the new series includes five models—REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro, REDMI Note 15 5G and REDMI Note 15 4G—catering to everyone from power users to everyday phone owners.

The launch reflects a clear shift in what UAE consumers now expect from mid-range phones: durability that holds up in real life, cameras that feel close to flagship quality, and batteries that last beyond long workdays, traffic jams and weekend trips out of the city.

Designed for Real Life in the UAE

One of the biggest upgrades in the REDMI Note 15 Series is Titan Durability. Xiaomi has reinforced the phone’s frame and protected the display with Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2, built to survive drops, pressure and daily wear.

In a country where phones face intense heat, outdoor use and constant movement—from Sheikh Zayed Road commutes to beach days and desert drives—this focus feels practical, not promotional.

Battery life also gets a serious upgrade. The Pro models feature Silicon–Carbon batteries up to 6,580mAh, paired with 100W HyperCharge. Xiaomi says the battery is designed to maintain peak health for more than six years, a reassuring detail for users who don’t upgrade phones every year.

Cameras, AI and Screens Built for Everyday Moments

Photography continues to be a strong selling point, especially in a city that loves capturing skyline views, food spreads and travel moments.

The REDMI Note 15 Pro models come with a 200MP main camera, supported by AI-powered 4× lossless zoom and Xiaomi’s HyperAI editing tools. It’s designed for quick, sharp results—ideal for users who shoot and post without spending too much time editing.

Performance is powered by the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 4, supported by Xiaomi IceLoop cooling. Whether it’s gaming, video calls or multitasking between work and social apps, the phone is built to stay smooth and cool.

The display is another highlight. A 120Hz AMOLED screen with up to 3,200 nits peak brightness makes outdoor viewing easier, even under the UAE sun—something many users will immediately notice.

Calling Without Network and a Discovery Channel Test

A standout feature in the new series is Xiaomi Offline Communication, which allows kilometre-level voice calls without mobile network coverage. For campers, hikers or anyone heading beyond city limits, this adds an extra layer of reliability.

To prove its real-world performance, Xiaomi partnered with Discovery Channel for a regional campaign featuring explorer and survival expert Ed Stafford. In the campaign, Stafford relies solely on the REDMI Note 15 during a 24-hour endurance challenge.

The phone is shown handling navigation, lighting, photography, weather checks and communication—while being exposed to tough outdoor conditions. The campaign will run across Discovery Channel platforms in the UAE, supported by press coverage and limited-edition co-branded gift boxes for creators.

It’s a move that gives the durability claim some credibility, beyond spec sheets and launch slides.

Xiaomi Expands Its Smart Ecosystem

Redmi Phones

Alongside smartphones, Xiaomi also introduced several new AIoT devices in the UAE, continuing its push toward connected living.

Mijia Smart Audio Glasses

The newly launched Mijia Smart Audio Glasses combine open-ear audio with a clean, everyday eyewear design. They feature four microphones, wind noise reduction and a privacy mode—useful for calls during walks or commutes.

With IP54 dust and splash resistance, UV and blue light protection, and up to 13 hours of playback, the glasses are designed for daily use. Fast charging delivers four hours of playback in just ten minutes, while the Xiaomi Glasses app allows gesture customisation and dual-device connectivity.

REDMI Buds 8 Lite

Xiaomi also launched REDMI Buds 8 Lite, offering a practical option for everyday audio. The earbuds feature a 12.4mm titanium-diaphragm driver, hybrid ANC up to 42dB, and Transparency mode.

With up to 36 hours of total battery life and dual-device connectivity, they’re clearly aimed at users balancing work calls, workouts and travel.

Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED Series

For home entertainment, Xiaomi introduced the TV S Pro Mini LED Series in 55”, 65” and 75” sizes. The TVs offer 4K QD-Mini LED displays, Dolby Vision®, Dolby Atmos® and a 144Hz refresh rate, making them suitable for movies, gaming and streaming.

With Google TV™, Apple AirPlay and modern connectivity options, the TVs fit well into smart homes across Dubai and the wider UAE.

With the REDMI Note 15 Series and its expanded AIoT lineup, Xiaomi is doubling down on value-driven innovation. The brand continues to blur the line between mid-range and premium, offering features that feel genuinely useful for life in the UAE.

For consumers, it means tougher phones, smarter features and more choice—without pushing prices into flagship territory.
