Fitness freaks, listen up! If padel is your go-to sport, here’s one for you! Dubai now has a new court it might be among the coolest yet. PadelX Floating Court, is the city’s coolest, new padel court, helming from Sweden. And, what’s even special is that it’s ON THE WATER! We, at Social Kandura headed to explore the new fitness activity in town and here’s how it went.

Located on the lake at Jumeirah Lake Towers, it is the first-of-its-kind to open up among the high rise apartments and offices. The JLT padel court is docked near cluster I, next to Pitfire Pizza. Guests can rent two courts, with prices starting from AED 200 per hour. The courts are open everyday from 6 am until 11 pm, and are well-protected with perspex wall to prevent the balls from landing into the lake. Apart from being a great way to burn up calories, the court will also be open for events like fashion shows.

“We want to introduce padel in the UAE in a more social and interesting way that will allow guests to enjoy not just the game, but the whole vibe of the place. The court is on the waters, and offers amazing views. Besides, the sport is for all- beginners, intermediate, or advanced. We also assist guests with equipment rentals as well as coaching,” said Mike the head coach at PadelX.
