In an extravagant showcase of luxury and artistry, the 53rd Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show at Expo Centre Sharjah is stealing the limelight. The event, running until February 4, brings together over 500 exhibitors with a stunning array of gold pieces that seamlessly blend tradition with international flair.

A Touch of Heritage: The Tallest Shivering in Pure Gold

A star attraction at the exhibition is the world’s tallest shivering, a 2.2-meter masterpiece crafted entirely from pure gold, inspired by ancient Emirati heritage. Priced at Dh1.3 million ($350,000), this impressive piece symbolizes the perfect blend of tradition and opulence, offering visitors a unique glimpse into the intersection of history and luxury.

Adding to the spectacle, a collection of rare Egyptian artefacts plated with 24-carat gold takes centre stage with a value of Dh4 million ($1 million). Not stopping at jewellery, the exhibition surprises with scooters and bicycles adorned with 24-carat gold plates, creating a fusion of luxury and functionality with a price tag of Dh3 million. This distinctive blend of extravagance and everyday items adds a touch of uniqueness to the event.

Global Elegance: Italian Pavilion’s Distinguished Designs

Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery shines bright in the exhibition, presenting over 60,000 pieces, including heritage gold in 21-carat and 18-carat white gold. The showcase also features a dedicated section for diamond-studded Arab gold, captivating visitors with its exquisite craftsmanship.

Beyond local flair, the exhibition transforms into a global stage, hosting the latest fashion trends in jewellery, gemstones, and pearls from countries like India, the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, China, Singapore, and Thailand. The Italian pavilion takes the spotlight with over 41 companies showcasing the best of Italian designers, contributing to the diverse and innovative landscape of the global jewellery industry.
