Vikrant Massey will no longer appear in Ranveer Singh’s Don 3
In a plot twist worthy of a thriller itself, Vikrant Massey, who was supposed to bring some delicious villainy to Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, has tapped out. Word on the street? The role just didn’t have enough meat for a performer of his range and Vikrant, known for chasing substance over stunts, said “pass.”
A source close to the producers told Bollywood Hungama, “There is no doubt that Vikrant would have been phenomenal. We are certain that another actor of his calibre will step up and take this challenge head-on.”
Fans had barely finished photoshopping Vijay Deverakonda in villain mode before news broke that he wasn’t in the running. Our Arjun Reddy heartthrob politely declined the baddie offer because his Telugu commitments are already stacking up.
The source added, “It’s been Ranveer and Vikrant from the start. Baseless rumours of Deverakonda replacing Massey are not going to tamper with the cast in any way.”
Kriti Sanon is the new leading lady
Kiara Advani was all set to add glam and grit to Don 3, but life had other beautiful plans. Just when fans were wondering who would fill those heels, enter Kriti Sanon, who’s reportedly locking in as the leading lady. With her killer moves, this casting might just hit the jackpot.
Don 3: Who’s Still in the Game?
So, what do we have so far? Ranveer Singh – locked, loaded, and ready to slay as the new-age Don. Kriti Sanon, most likely stepping in as the stylish and sassy heroine.
Production is still on track for a January 2026 start. But with roles still shuffling like a poker game, fans are waiting to see who dares to go toe-to-toe with Ranveer’s Don. One thing’s for sure: Farhan Akhtar isn’t settling for anything less than iconic.
