Vedika Prakash Shetty just found herself at the centre of a Rs 76.9 lakh fraud storm! According to the buzz, Shetty allegedly swiped nearly 77 lakhs from Eternal Sunshine Productions (Alia’s production house) and her kitty, without raising suspicion for two whole years!
From 2022 to 2024, Vedika was living her best (and most questionable) life while managing Alia’s finances. She’s accused of creating fake bills, tricking Alia into signing them, and then redirecting the money. The bills claimed travel, meetings, and other “legit” work expenses, but it turns out the money was landing in her friend’s account and then circling back to her.
The moment Soni Razdan (Alia’s mom!) filed a complaint back in January 2025, things went full drama mode. Vedika? She vanished like a ghost. Authorities tracked her from Rajasthan to Pune, Karnataka to Bengaluru, as she played a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek. But the cops finally caught up with her in Bengaluru this week and brought her straight back to Mumbai with a transit warrant. Arrest: done.

Sources say Vedika worked with Alia from 2021 to 2024 and had access to everything from bank accounts to business invoices. With that kind of access, it’s no surprise she managed to pull off this alleged scam for so long. But no matter how polished the paperwork looked, the truth eventually caught up.
