But, Siyapaa mode is officially on as Sohum Shah, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Nora Fatehi, and Omkar Kapoor come together for a wild ride in the film Uff Yeh Siyapaa that has no words, just pure madness.
Ufff Yeh Siyapaa: A Comic Film Elevated by A.R. Rahman’s Score
The trailer of Ufff Yeh Siyapaa just dropped and let’s just say – dialogues who? Director G. Ashok has cooked up a completely wordless comedy drama that’s releasing on September 5, 2025, and it looks like chaos wrapped in music, wrapped in pure filmy entertainment. The music is by none other than A.R. Rahman? Oscar-winner energy backing slapstick disaster.
Sohum Shah plays Kesari Lal Singh, your regular nice guy who just can’t catch a break. His wife (Nushrratt) thinks he’s eyeing the neighbor Kamini (Nora), a drug parcel lands up at his doorstep, and before he can even say “it’s not what it looks like,” BOOM – there’s a dead body in his house. As if that wasn’t enough, another one shows up. Enter Inspector Hasmukh (Omkar Kapoor), who’s got his own messy agenda. Result? A house full of corpses, misunderstandings, and non-stop laugh-out-loud mayhem.
Since the film doesn’t use dialogue, the pressure is on the soundtrack and honestly, who better than A.R. Rahman to set the mood? From quirky beats to emotional highs, the maestro’s score drives the story, proving once again why he’s in a league of his own.

Calling it his “passion project,” G. Ashok explained that his dance and choreography roots gave him the confidence to create a film told only through expressions, music, and movement. He shared, “Ufff Yeh Siyapaa is my passion project. My dance and choreography background gave me the confidence to tell a story through expressions alone. I’m proud of the cast – Sohum, Nushrratt, Nora, Omkar, for bringing their roles to life. Rahman sir’s music is the heart of the film, perfectly conveying its emotion and chaos. I’m grateful to Luv and Ankur for backing the film and supporting this vision.”
Ufff Yeh Siyapaa is produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, which means the comedy pedigree is strong. With a never-before-seen concept, powerhouse cast, and Rahman’s magic, this one promises to be a total game-changer.
