Act Fast: 50% Traffic Fine Discount Ends Soon in UAE

Clear Your Fines Today with a Limited-Time 50% Discount in Four Emirates!

Motorists across the UAE have a golden opportunity to clear their outstanding traffic fines with a generous 50% discount. Police departments in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain have launched this initiative to celebrate UAE National Day while promoting road safety and easing the financial load on residents.

Deadlines for Each Emirate

Make sure to act before these dates to benefit from the reduced fines:

Ajman

  • Eligibility: Violations committed before October 31, 2024.
  • Deadline: December 15, 2024.

Ras Al Khaimah

  • Eligibility: Violations committed before December 1, 2024.
  • Deadline: December 31, 2024.

Fujairah

  • Eligibility: Violations committed before December 1, 2024.
  • Deadline: January 23, 2025.

Umm Al Quwain

  • Eligibility: Violations committed before December 1, 2024.
  • Deadline: January 5, 2025.

What’s Covered in the Discount?

The initiative allows motorists to:

  • Pay half the penalty amount on eligible fines.
  • Cancel black traffic points from their record.
  • Avoid vehicle impoundment fees.

However, the discount does not cover serious traffic violations such as reckless driving, excessive speeding, or unauthorized vehicle modifications. These remain subject to full penalties to ensure strict adherence to traffic laws.

How to Pay Your UAE traffic fines

Clearing your fines is easy and hassle-free. You can make payments through:

  • Mobile apps: Use the Ministry of Interior or local police department applications.
  • Customer service centers: Visit designated locations in your emirate.
  • Sahl machines and other smart kiosks.

This streamlined process ensures that all motorists can conveniently take advantage of the initiative.

Why You Shouldn’t Wait

With these significant savings, drivers have a unique chance to settle their fines while contributing to safer roads. Missing the deadline will mean paying the full amount, so it’s crucial to act swiftly.
