Save Big on Flights with Emirates, SalamAir, and Air Arabia

Dubai: The end of summer brings exciting news for travelers in the UAE and GCC. Airlines are rolling out attractive discounts on flights to various destinations, offering a great opportunity to book your next trip at a lower cost.

Great Deals for Travelers

Starting from July 24 through July 31, airlines are offering reduced fares for travel from September 16 to December 15. This is the perfect time to plan a vacation and save money on flights.

SalamAir, Oman’s budget airline, is leading the charge with its new pricing strategy. Travelers can now book flights between Muscat and Salalah for as low as Omani Riyal 19 (Dh180). Discounts are also available on international routes, including Dubai and Delhi. SalamAir aims to make travel more affordable and accessible with these low fares.

Sherif Hosny, Director of Marketing at SalamAir, explained, “These fares are part of our effort to offer consistently low prices. Our ‘light’ fare product includes a 7kg hand luggage allowance, allowing passengers to pay for only what they need.”

Discounts from UAE Airlines

Etihad Airways is joining the post-summer sale with a week-long promotion. Discounts are available for flights to popular destinations such as Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Greece, India, and the UK. For example, economy tickets to the Maldives are priced at Dh850 for a return trip, while flights to India are available for Dh1,130. These deals are only available for bookings made directly on Etihad’s website.

Air Arabia, based in Sharjah, is also offering significant savings. Their ‘Big Sale on Small Fares’ includes one-way tickets to destinations like Delhi, Jaipur, Kochi, and Kozhikode starting at Dh169. Flights to Tbilisi are priced at Dh249, and tickets to Moscow start at Dh349.

Emirates Airlines is offering a Fly Now, Pay Later’ deal, allowing travelers to spread the cost of their flights over three months with no interest. This offer is valid until January 31, 2025, and is available on select credit cards from UAE banks.
