The adoration of devoted fans can drive them to extraordinary measures in their pursuit of catching a glimpse of their beloved idols. In a recent incident, two youthful enthusiasts hailing from Gujarat, India, dared to venture into the opulent Mumbai mansion of none other than the reigning monarch of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
The daring duo made their way into SRK’s palatial residence, Mannat, by scaling the outer wall. However, their plan was foiled when they were caught by the alert security guards stationed at the property. The Mumbai police were called to the scene, and the men were taken into custody. During the investigation, the trespassers, aged 18 and 19, claimed that they had travelled all the way from Gujarat with the sole intention of meeting the “Pathaan” star.
A case of trespassing and other related offences have been registered against the two men under the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the investigation is currently ongoing.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is riding high on the success of his latest film, “Pathaan.” The action-packed movie has shattered box office records, raking in over Rs. 10 billion worldwide since its release. Co-starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, “Pathaan” is a Yash Raj Films project directed by Siddharth Anand.
But SRK has no intention of slowing down. He is already hard at work on his next projects, including “Jawan” and “Dunki.” “Jawan,” helmed by Atlee, is set to release on June 3, 2023, and stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. “Dunki,” directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is slated for a December 2023 release.
It’s clear that Shah Rukh Khan has no shortage of fans eager to see him in action. However, breaking into his home is definitely not the way to do it. Hopefully, this incident will serve as a cautionary tale to others who may be tempted to take such extreme measures.
