The new sensation in B-town Triptii Dimri has marked her space in the industry! After making waves in Laila Majnu, Bulbbul, and the hauntingly gorgeous Qala, she’s now flying high after her sizzling performance in Animal. With the nation swooning over her, she’s got more fans than ever, but of course, the fame game comes with its fair share of drama! While basking in the glow of success, Triptii’s also had to wipe away some serious tears over some harsh comments.
Triptii Dimri opens up on facing harsh criticism
In a recent heart-to-heart on Ranveer Allahbadia’s YouTube channel, Triptii got real about her emotional rollercoaster post-Animal. Who would’ve thought that someone so fierce could be knocked down by a few critical remarks? Turns out, the bold scenes in Animal had a few haters reaching for their keyboards. She confessed to crying for two or three days straight! “Dimaag khraab hogaya tha),” she admitted, reflecting on the wild things people were saying online.
While the internet was busy doing what it does best (throwing shade), Triptii found her saving grace in her sister. After days of feeling crushed by the negativity, her sister hit her with some much-needed wisdom. With that pep talk, Triptii picked herself back up, dusted off the drama, and realized she wasn’t going to let a few haters ruin her shine. In fact, she even said that crying was just her body’s way of letting it all out.
Before Animal
It wasn’t always this wild for Triptii. Pre-Animal, life was all zen and carefree. But after starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor in one of 2023’s biggest blockbusters, things got real. The fame skyrocketed, but so did the criticism.
Triptii’s journey is the ultimate reminder that with great fame comes great responsibility… and a whole lot of opinions! While she’s grateful for all the amazing work coming her way, she’s also learning to deal with the flip side – criticism. She said, “There was no criticism before Animal, but I suppose that’s the side effect of being in a mainstream film.”
