The National Centre for Meteorology issued a red weather warning because of the heavy rain. This means there’s a high risk of severe weather like thunderstorms and even hail.

Restoring Normalcy:

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is working to fix the problems caused by the rain. Their teams are out there trying to make sure traffic flows smoothly again.

Extended Remote Operations:

In response to the heavy rainfall, both public and private schools across the UAE are extending remote learning for April 18 and 19. This decision aims to ensure the safety of students and teachers. Additionally, government employees in Sharjah will continue remote work on April 18, except for roles requiring physical presence in the workplace.

While the authorities are doing their best, it’s still important to stay updated on the situation. Keep an eye on the news for any changes in traffic or weather conditions.
