This Farm in the uAE looks straight out of a fairy tale

It’s winter and that means its the perfect time to go on a stroll in a farm. But, wait- a farm in the UAE? Yes, this country has that too! We’ve discovered a gorgeous flower farm in Ras Al Khaimah’s Wadi Asimah that is tucked away and will blow your mind. Over 30,000 different types of flowers, including larkspurs, hollyhocks, gladioli, sunflowers, snapdragons, and marigolds, are present in the vast flower farm. Al Mazroui, the proprietor of this lovely setting, lovingly hand-picked the flowers and grew them from the farm’s own seeds.

Before realizing his calling and dedicating himself to flower growing full-time, Mazroui spent 29 years working for the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates. Mohammed Al Mazroui, 50, needed seven years of landscape blossoming effort to build such a wonderful farm.

Visitors to the RAK farm, can engage in activities like collecting flowers and even making bouquets. The farm is home to a variety of flora, including purple yarrow, a plant that bears clusters of tiny, delicate flowers, bright yellow dandelions, and blue-violet larkspur. White dill, coriander, saffron, and old stock are also present.

Planting begins in September or October, and the flowers are harvested in April or May. Following that, the blooms are delivered to flower shops in Sharjah and Dubai, where they are purchased by Gardners. Visitors now have the option to design their own bouquets and pay in-person at the farm, which recently opened to the public. During the sweltering summers in Dubai, the countryside is left alone.

You might expect a pleasant surprise when you come here! The farm is nothing short of a visual feast, with a meadow of beautiful color. So get your pictures out and start flooding Instagram—this site truly does look like something out of a fairy tale!

The Flower Farm is open every day from 7 am to 11 am and from 2 pm to 6:30 pm. Weekdays are more relaxed, and the golden hours are particularly lovely.
