The tenants have 12 months to vacate from The Pointe and relocate as per their circumstances, and it is believed that the venue as a whole will get a major revamp. Nakheel is working closely with the valued tenants and is ensuring that the transition process is smooth for everyone.

A Nakheel Spokesperson said, “Nakheel is working closely with our valued tenants throughout this process. As a part of this redevelopment, The Fountain at The Pointe closed on May 15. Nakheel remains committed to ensuring the smoothest transition possible for its tenants during this time.”

The Pointe opened in 2018 and was an entertainment hub offering tons of eateries, bars and the Palm Fountain. Launched in October 2020, Palm Fountain holds a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest dancing fountain. Being the only multicoloured fountain in Dubai, it uses more than 3,000 LED lights to stun visitors by offering a surreal visual spectacle. The colourful water jets shoot 105m high and match the beats of popular Khaleeji, pop, classic and international hits.

Well, we have to wait for more updates to know what exactly is the situation if the area will be renamed too, and what can we expect in the future.
