The Dubai Balloon- the balloon ride over the palm is set to open on 31 March

Although Dubai is home to many breathtaking sights and attractions, we’ve uncovered one that might just leave you speechless. ‘The Dubai Balloon’, the city’s newest attraction is a hot air balloon ride over the Palm Jumeirah. The ride will give thrill-seekers the chance to reach out and touch the sky up to 300 meters in the air. The Dubai Balloon is a helium-inflated tethered balloon that hasn’t been seen before in the city. The new ride will open doors for the public on Friday, 31 March.

The Dubai Balloon, a one-of-a-kind flight experience is located at Poseidon’s Watchtower in Atlantis Aquadventure. The balloon will take you up to 300m into the air, providing unrivaled views of the entire city. Riders are propelled into the air for the duration of the 10-minute experience, and on a clear day they can see for miles to the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, and other distant landmarks.

The ride is suitable for people of all ages, and children under three ride free. Regular passes cost AED 175 for adults and AED 75 for kids. The Dubai Balloon lounge also offers a fast pass ticket for expedited boarding and a free beverage for AED 275 for adults and AED 175 for kids.
