One of the most-awaited debuts in Bollywood is finally here! Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is stepping into the director’s chair with The Ba***ds of Bollywood and let’s be real, when Aryan Khan creates something, there’s no way half of Bollywood isn’t going to show up for the madness. This ain’t your typical glam fest; this one’s got grit, wit, and a whole lot of unapologetic spice.
Netflix Releases The Ba***ds Of Bollywood Preview Directed by Aryan Khan
The big preview of Aryan’s directorial debut lit up the city and gave fans a first taste of what’s about to hit them on September 18. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Aryan, alongside Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, has cooked up a show that’s sharp, sassy, and dripping in satire. Think chaos, ambition, and drama served with a cheeky wink.
The series promises to throw you headfirst into a stylised yet messy universe of Bollywood where dreams cost more than designer outfits and egos clash louder than a Diwali patakha. At its heart, it’s an underdog story with a twist: how far would you go to chase your dream, and what – or who – are you willing to lose on the way?
Of course, the big daddy himself, Shah Rukh Khan, had to be part of this iconic moment. King Khan introduced the cast with his signature humour while Aryan broke down his vision. Aryan called the show “a cocktail of glitz and grit” where ambition, betrayal, and chaos swirl into something India hasn’t seen before.
In Aryan’s words, “With The Bads of Bollywood, I wanted to build a world that feels alive, a mix of glitz and grit, where ambition shines, egos clash, and nothing is ever as it seems. In Netflix, we found a partner who shared our creative vision—helping us tell the story exactly how it needed to be told, raw, stylised, and something the world has never experienced before.”

About the starcast
This spicy lineup includes Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, and Mona Singh. Add Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Rajat Bedi, and Gautami Kapoor into the mix, and you’ve got a cast ready to roast-and-toast Bollywood like never before. There are also the coolest cameos by Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh casually steal the show.
Proud Papa Moment
SRK couldn’t hide his pride as he watched Aryan take the spotlight. “Sharp, bold, self-aware,” is how he described his son’s storytelling. He said “It’s a proud moment to see Aryan carve out his vision with such clarity and edge. This is storytelling that’s sharp, self-aware, and unapologetically bold. And I think audiences on Netflix will connect to the heart of it as much as its style.”
Netflix’s Boldest Bet Yet
Monika Shergill, Vice-President – Content, Netflix India, shares, “When Aryan Khan shared his vision for his directorial debut, we knew we were setting the stage for something special and disruptive. Ba***ds is witty, bold, and unlike anything audiences have seen before – a true roast-and-toast to Bollywood. It’s a story bursting with love, drama, passion, ambition, family, and friendship. This series is a shining addition to our diverse slate, and we’re proud to continue our journey with the supremely talented team of Red Chillies Entertainment, and with Shah Rukh Khan, whose creative legacy continues to inspire millions around the world.”
Music To Set The Stage
T-Series is dropping the soundtrack, with Shashwat Sachdev leading the charge and guest composers Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta sprinkling their magic. If the preview is anything to go by, this music is going to be the anthem of every chaotic night out.
The Ba***ds of Bollywood starts streaming on September 18, only on Netflix. Whether you’re here for Aryan Khan’s big debut, the wild storyline, or just to spot Salman and Ranveer’s cameos, this is the show that’s about to hijack your hearts.
