Tabu Joins Akshay Kumar for Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla; Filming Begins in Jaipur

Bollywood’s powerhouse duo, Akshay Kumar and Tabu, are reuniting after years to serve us a comedy and horror in Priyadarshan’s upcoming horror-comedy, Bhooth Bangla. From Hera Pheri to Tu Chor Main Sipahi, they’ve already proven they’re a match made in movie heaven. Now, they’re about to bring the laughs and screams to the screen.

Tabu Enters Bhooth Bangla alongside Akshay Kumar

Tabu is officially on board! The actress teased her fans on social media, dropping a cryptic “Hum yahan bandh hain” post, hinting at her role in the project. Akshay Kumar, always one to hype his co-stars, welcomed her with open arms and probably a joke or two. Bhooth Bangla kicked off its shoot last week in Jaipur, turning the Pink City into a spooky, cinematic playground. The film’s team has been spotted filming in some of Rajasthan’s iconic spots, adding a royal touch to the eerie narrative. Haunted havelis, historic forts, and a dash of Bollywood glam. Let’s not forget who’s in the director’s chair. Priyadarshan, the man behind classics like Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, is returning to his roots of laugh-out-loud madness.

The film combines the talents of Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films. Co-produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali, Bhooth Bangla boasts a talented writing team led by Akash A Kaushik, with dialogues by Rohan Shankar.
