Sunny Deol, the man whose on-screen punches have broken more than just bones – is now making headlines for something far less explosive but equally gripping. This time, it’s not about borders being crossed, but hearts being won again. We’re talking about Fawad Khan’s grand re-entry into Bollywood, and Sunny Paaji reveals if he supports the decision or no.
Sunny deol reacts to Fawad khan’s bollywood comeback
Sunny Deol, who’s built an entire career waving the patriotic flag louder than anyone else, has weighed in on the much-discussed return of Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan. No, he didn’t whip out a “dhai kilo ka haath” on this one, he went full zen instead.
While chatting with HT City, Sunny chose to steer clear of the political potholes and instead dropped a calm and composed truth bomb: “See, I wouldn’t like to go on to the political side because that’s where things start getting messy. We are actors; we work for everyone all over the world. Even if somebody is watching or not, we are for everyone. So, aisi koi baat nahi hain (nothing like that). The more the way the world has become, we should stay global and let there be more countries; that’s the way it should be.”
The Fawad Fever Returns
Fawad Khan, the man who made stoic smirks look hotter than summers in Dubai is back to set the screens on fire with Abir Gulaal, opposite Vaani Kapoor. After a long pause (thanks to an unofficial ban in 2016), he’s officially back in B-town and bringing his A-game in a romantic drama that’s hitting theatres on May 9. Cue the collective fangirl screaming.
Let’s not forget, Fawad’s filmography is a fan-fave playlist: Khoobsurat, Kapoor & Sons, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil – each one a mood, a vibe, a whole era.
The Politics vS Movies Debate
For those living under a rock, Pakistani artists had an unofficial Bollywood timeout since 2016. But in 2023, the Bombay High Court waved the drama away and said: let art live. Now that the cinematic borders are opening back up, actors like Fawad are making their much-awaited returns and it’s got people talking.
But Sunny, being the level-headed legend that he is, isn’t interested in turning this into a Twitter war. His take? Keep the stage open, the lights on, and let talent do its thing, no matter where it comes from.
On the other hand, Sunny Deol’s film Jaat hit theatres today on 10th April, 2025, and it looks like he is all set to rule the box office again with Vineet Kumar and Randeep Hooda alongside.
