Sunny Deol himself has finally stepped up to set the record straight on these buzzing rumors. In a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, he dropped some truth bombs, exclaiming, “Ever since ‘Gadar’ hit the screens, it’s been, ‘He’s doing part 2, he’s doing part 12!’ How many sequels do they think I’m making! Rumors are flying left, right, and center. I’ll be the one to spill the beans. People just love to speculate.”
But wait, there’s more! The conversation didn’t stop there. Sunny also spilled the beans on his highly anticipated project, “Lahore 1947,” directed by none other than Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by the Aamir Khan. Preity Zinta will be playing the female lead and this will mark her big Bollywood comeback.
“Gadar 2’s success has paved the way for this film,” Sunny revealed. “Gadar 2 has been successful so this film is happening. We have been with this film for the past 15-17 years, but it wasn’t happening. Gadar has opened a lot of doors for all of us. Raj is very talented, he has a got a lot of great subjects. People have seen him and me doing three films together, all different genres, and all masterpieces.”
