During a candid chat with Lilly Singh on her podcast, the soon-to-be dad got real about how he plans to raise his child. And no, it’s not just about bedtime stories and toy shopping! “The best way in my book is to definitely get your boys in check growing up, and that would be my intent in life – be that girl or boy. I think values and ethics and being a kinder human being and a sensitive person are crucial,” Sidharth shared.
Dropping some major wisdom, he added, “Being a male is by birth, but being a man is by choice. Being a man is that you start taking responsibility for your own actions. You start being more accountable and sensitive.” Well, if there’s a ‘Cool Dad 101’ handbook, looks like Sid’s already writing it!
How Marriage With Kiara Changed Sidharth
While baby talks are making headlines, the also reflected on how tying the knot with Kiara has been a game-changer for him. “Marriage for me in the recent years has opened up my eyes after all these years of being by myself in Mumbai. To have her has been a great influence on my outlook towards life, work, and family; she’s very family-oriented. Her ethics and morals are in the right place. That’s something I respect and admire”, he confessed.

From Shershaah To Parenthood: A Love Story Written In The Stars
Sidharth and Kiara’s love story began on the sets of their 2021 blockbuster Shershaah, and let’s be honest, we’ve been rooting for them ever since! The duo turned reel-life chemistry into real-life romance, tying the knot in a dreamy Rajasthan wedding in 2023.
Fast forward to 2025, they set social media on fire with their baby announcement. A simple yet heart-melting Instagram post featuring a pair of white knitted baby shoes with the caption, “The greatest joy of our lives ?? Coming soon”.
What’s Next for Sid-Kiara?
While Sidharth is stepping into dad duties, he’s also juggling some exciting projects. He’s all set to bring his A-game in VVAN – Force of the Forest, a folk thriller hitting screens in November 2024. Adding to his impressive lineup, he’ll be seen romancing Janhvi Kapoor in Param Sundari, a cross-cultural love saga set against the breathtaking backwaters of Kerala.
