Sharjah Unveils 53rd UAE Union Day Celebrations with Spectacular Events Across the Emirate

Sharjah, UAE — This year’s Union Day celebrations in Sharjah promise an extraordinary lineup of events to commemorate the UAE’s 53rd National Day, reflecting the country’s rich heritage and progressive spirit. Running from November 21 to December 2, the program embraces Emirati culture, unity, and tradition, with events spread across the emirate’s vibrant cultural and tourist sites.

Sharjah National Park will host interactive competitions, performances, and workshops in a family-friendly setting. At Al Dhaid, a city steeped in heritage, the program kicks off with a grand parade on November 27, including school children, government representatives, and local groups coming together to celebrate Emirati pride.

Al Bataeh celebrates from November 28-30, inviting residents and tourists to experience parades, traditional folk performances, and classic car exhibitions. A unique feature is the “Union Bus,” which will tour residential neighborhoods, distributing national flags and gifts to spread patriotic cheer throughout the city.

Showcasing Emirati Legacy in Sharjah’s Coastal Cities

Kalba, on the eastern coast, will host its festivities from November 23-25, featuring a vintage car parade, folk music performances, and traditional games. In Khorfakkan, celebrations include family-oriented art workshops, music performances, and a charity concert. Set to take place at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, this event’s proceeds will benefit The Big Heart Foundation, reflecting the UAE’s philanthropic spirit.

Dibba Al Hisn will host a grand operetta and military parades on November 23. Al Hamriyah’s celebration on November 27-28 features cultural parades, poetry recitals, and a communal dinner under ‘A Nation’s Journey.
