The chemistry of vampires and humans have kept us hooked time and again! so, Get ready to sink your teeth into Netflix’s latest offering, ‘Tooth Pari: When Love Bites’, a romantic fantasy thriller that promises to take you on a bloody, delirious ride. Produced by Endemol Shine India and created and directed by Pratim Dasgupta, this one-of-a-kind series that stars the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ fame Shantanu Maheshwari and the ever-stunning Tanya Maniktala, alongside a stellar supporting cast.

The series takes place in Kolkata, where the beautiful vampire Rumi, played by Tanya Maniktala, finds herself in a bit of a predicament. She has broken one of her fangs during a hunt and seeks out the help of Roy, a timid human dentist played by Shantanu Maheshwari. As fate would have it, sparks fly between the two as Roy is confident that he can fix Rumi’s broken fang. What follows is a twisted love story that is sure to leave you on the edge of your seat.

‘Tooth Pari: When Love Bites’ is not your typical romance story, and that’s what makes it so exciting. The series blends two worlds, that of humans and vampires, and explores the complexities that arise when they collide. The series is set against the backdrop of World Oral Hygiene Day, which adds an interesting layer to the story, given that one half of the couple is bound to have tooth problems and the other can always fix them.

The chemistry between Shantanu Maheshwari and Tanya Maniktala is palpable, and they make for a perfect on-screen pair. Shantanu brings his shy guy energy to the role of Roy, while Tanya transforms into the perfect girl-next-door, but with a twist – she’s a vampire! The supporting cast, including Sikander Kher, Adil Hussain, Revathy, Saswata Chatterjee, and Tillotama Shome, all bring their A-game, making ‘Tooth Pari: When Love Bites’ a series that is not to be missed.
